WHAT ARE GREENHOUSE RESCUES SUSTAINABILITY PROJECTS
Your membership in Greenhouse Rescue and the placement of your monthly contributions,
see's you participate in the following GREEN projects:
- LOCAL GREEN PROJECTS – Greenhouse Rescue is a philanthropic program designed
to raise funding for local and national green projects. A portion commensurate with
$3.00 out of every $5.00 is applied to a number of local green projects from new
sustainable technologies for green power generation, water purification, bio-fuel
production, to endangered wildlife habitats. The balance of contributions and membership
fees are used to operate the specific programs, pay sales and marketing personnel
to create public awareness and of course to pay tax to the Government.
- BIO-FUEL – Greenhouse Rescue Members care about the environment and by way
of their membership, MainStreet Sustainability Management utilises fees and
contributions to develop technology that will be used for the propagation of the
Cassava Plant and the
Paulownia Tree for
the production of Ethanol used in the production of Bio-fuel, which will lower the
production of carbon emissions into earth's atmosphere in years to come. The company
owns strategic technology such as
Agriponics which is used to produce
Cassava mother root stock and
Paulownia tree seedlings.
- KOALA HABITAT –This project has been specifically directed at Koala populations
in South East Queensland where this species has specific problems directly as a
result of loss of habitat seen in recent years due to the massive increase of human
population and residential and commercial development. This project has been set
up at www.koalagreen.com a web site that
is dedicated to raise money, public awareness across Australia and internationally
and government support. The portion of your Greenhouse Rescue Membership Fee that
is used to support this project is urgently needed especially by the Koala population
in the Redlands area of South East Queensland which see a 30% reduction in Koala
population per year, leaving less than 5 years left for this species – a massive
problem and one of concern to all Greenhouse Rescue Members.
