The imbalance in the objectives of Koala Support Groups fighting Developers, is that Support Groups are generally made up of small numbers of local people who care about Koalas and yet are not funded to approach Government or Developers directly. Without financial resources, Koala Support Group's have limited effect on the continued development of the urban sprawl that now effects the survival of the Koala species Australia-wide.
